Transport Trust Awards 2012

DVLA to close licensing centres

3 January 2012.

It has been announced by the Roads Minister, Mike Penning, that 1200 staff at all 39 Driver and Vehicle Licencing Agency centres in the UK will lose their jobs by 2013. Their role will supposedly be centralised at the HQ site in South Wales and make access to DVLA services 'easier and quicker'.
