First Volvo sold in UK returns home!
By: Stephen Pullen
The first every Volvo lorry officially sold in the UK has returned to these shores after spending many years as an exhibit at the Volvo museum in Gothenburg.
The F86 tractor unit, registration number LNL 465E, was sold in 1967 to Thos Hutchinson Transport of Wark by Ailsa Trucks of Barrhead near Glasgow.
The lorry is currently being refurbished at Volvo Truck & Bus in Warwick. Watch this space!
