Transport Trust Awards 2012

The closing date for the awards entries is June 30 and inspection of projects will take place before the end of August, with the declaration of winners made during October. Nominations are also invited for the trust's Preservationist of the Year Award, Lifetime Achievement Awards and The Young Preservationist of the Year Award (which carries with it a cash sum of £500 for the winner). These three awards enable the trust to acknowledge and publicise a wide range of endeavours in the cause of transport preservation – from management or administration to hands-on restoration work.

Entries are invited from individuals or organisations and should reach the Transport Trust office not later than May 1. Presentation to winners will take place in the summer on a date and at a Greater London venue to be announced.
